The durable polyester outer layer protects you against the elements. The 2500 mm hydrostatic head guarantees you stay dry during rain, and the fabric is designed for extended use. However, prolonged sun exposure may cause some color fading.
When it rains, the extra groundsheet keeps you dry. Although the tent already includes a groundsheet, an additional layer underneath or inside adds extra comfort, especially in wet conditions.
