Byomic Study Microscope BYO-30
Description
The Byomic Study Microscope BYO-30 offers an unmatched experience in exploring the microscopic world. Designed for advanced users, this biological microscope shines with its transmitted light illumination, making it the perfect choice to view cells and microorganisms. With adjustable magnification from 20x up to an impressive 640x, the BYO-30 is more than ready for use in secondary education.
Key features of the Byomic Study Microscope BYO-30:
- Sturdy metal housing for durability
- Built-in 100 x 90 mm stage with strong clamps
- Easy-to-adjust focusing wheel for razor-sharp images
- LED transmitted light with adjustable brightness
- Eyepieces offering a range of magnifications from 5x to 16x
The BYO-30’s housing stands out for its robustness thanks to its solid metal construction. The integrated 100 by 90 mm stage, equipped with strong clamps, keeps every slide firmly in place, even during intensive observation sessions. Attach the included cross table for precise measurements of your specimens, such as measuring the size of a larva. The focusing wheel lets you perfectly adjust the distance between the objective lens and the stage so every detail comes into sharp focus.
On the back of the microscope, you’ll find the power switch and the corresponding power cable for the illumination—convenient for quick on/off control. To the right of the microscope sits the rotating knob for adjusting light intensity, right next to the fuse slot.
The Byomic BYO-30 stands out with its eyepiece set. A wide-field eyepiece with 10x magnification and two extra eyepieces of 5x and 16x give you flexibility and variety in your observations. Eyepieces with different specs also fit, as long as they have a diameter of 23 mm. The revolving nosepiece holds three achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, and 40x), allowing magnifications up to a maximum of 640x. Swap the objectives yourself to vary your magnification levels.
Regarding illumination, the BYO-30 is equipped with an LED located at the base of the microscope, enabling transmitted light illumination. A handy adjustment wheel beneath the stage lets you control the amount of light passing through precisely—ideal for observing a range of specimens under different lighting conditions.
The Byomic Study Microscope BYO-30 shines in studying bacteria and parasites, making it perfect for applications involving fish or manure analysis. It’s also the ideal solution for researching blood or urine samples.
